Mar de Cristal Marina will introduce new measures to strengthen the security of its facilities as part of the new 20-year concession for marina management, awarded to Aldesa and Telhidra and promoted by the Regional Ministry of Development and Infrastructure of the Region of Murcia.
Key measures include the creation of a permanent surveillance post, as well as the installation of CCTV cameras and high-powered floodlights, which will improve control of the port premises and visibility at night or in low-light conditions. These initiatives represent an investment of nearly €43,000.
The concession also includes other improvements, such as acquiring equipment for handling vessels in the slipway area, repairing the east breakwater, and implementing monitoring software for the bollards to enable more efficient facility management.
Additionally, measures will be introduced to enhance accessibility, including specialised machinery to assist boarding for people with reduced mobility and the adaptation of accessible toilets. These initiatives will consolidate Mar de Cristal Marina as a safer, more accessible nautical facility, fully prepared to meet the needs of all its clients. The marina aims to continue offering the best conditions for enjoying the sea and its facilities, both for current boat owners and those interested in reserving a berth.
